VOLUNTEER PRE-SERVICE TRAINING
SESSIONS BEGIN OCTOBER 22, 2024
The CASA Pre-Service training for CASA volunteers is an 8-week course, with sessions held once per week for eight weeks. Training dates are flexible. The tentative schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, October 22 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesday, October 29 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

TBD: Week 3 will be adjusted due to Election Day (the training class will be consulted on this date)

Tuesday, November 12 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesday, November 19 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesday, November 26 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM (this date is flexible due to Thanksgiving week as well)

Tuesday, December 3 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesday, December 10 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Once these sessions are complete, trainees will be scheduled for their swearing in as a CASA volunteer in the Circuit Court of Harrison County.

Join us at an upcoming informational session to learn about CASA. We will discuss requirements to volunteer and help answer any questions participants may have to help them determine if this is a good fit for them. No commitment expected or required.
